How to reduce the amount of film when laminating machine is laminating

June 01, 2022

[Office Partner Information Center] How to reduce the amount of film laminating machine? It is necessary to start from the aspects where the product to be constructed must be straight, such as after the blotting is dry, and then the film can be sprayed as little as possible. Let's take a look at how the laminator reduces the amount of film used in laminating and the common fault repair of laminating machine.

How to reduce the amount of film when laminating machine is laminating

How does the laminator reduce the amount of film used?

The amount of film used in laminating machine is mainly related to the operation level. It is recommended that:

1. The product to be constructed must be straight. Dispose of uneven paper with "leaf edge" and "tight edge" phenomenon. “Ruffled” paper can be baked, and “tight” paper can be hanged.

2, must wait for the blot to dry after the film can be covered, otherwise it will cause foaming or napping.

3. Spray as little as possible during printing, otherwise it will cause emptying and foaming at the pile. The powder should be removed before the film is covered, and the number of prints can be hanged and dried, and the number of prints can be manually wiped.

4, the film should also pay attention to the direction of the silk thread, especially thick paper, to reduce the paper due to rolling and stretching caused by curling phenomenon.

There is also: the temperature is generally controlled to 40 ~ 60 ° C. Too high a temperature will deform the paper and film, causing the product to curl, but it should not be too low, otherwise it will cause insufficient viscosity. The coated paper temperature should be slightly lower than the offset paper.

Laminating machine common fault repair and elimination

First, the machine does not start: the input wire is not connected, the power cable is reversed, and the voltage is not enough.

Second, the temperature measurement is not accurate: thermocouple, temperature controller. Is it incorrectly installed and damaged?

Third, the working vacuum does not come: the gas path is not connected, the hand valve or the solenoid valve is not closed, the vacuum pump motor belt is loose, and the vacuum gauge is damaged.

Fourth, the main power switch trip: heating box top input wire leakage, distribution box leakage, external wires on the equipment, motor leakage and so on.

5. The film is not in place: the vacuum is not enough, the gas is leaking, the temperature is not enough, the film is too thin, the workpiece is pasted by other materials, the concave depth of the workpiece exceeds the film pull-up, the suction time is too short, the film is not pulled up, the workpiece distance Too close.

Sixth, the surface of the workpiece is folded and not smooth or the corners are not covered: the film is not straightened, the film quality is not good, the workpiece is not well polished, the glue is sprayed too much, and the mold under the workpiece is too low.

7. When the suction is not applied, the film pulls down: Whether the solenoid valve or the hand valve is open.

Eight, play the phenomenon: the temperature is too high, the heating time is too long, the film quality is not good, no heating.

Nine, the appearance of sticking is not good

1. The adhesive is improperly selected, the amount of glue applied is improperly set, and the ratio measurement is incorrect. The type and amount of binder should be reselected.

2. The diluent contains an alcohol and water which consume NCO groups, so that the hydroxyl groups of the main agent do not react. High purity ethyl acetate should be used.

3. There is dusting on the surface of the printed matter. Gently wipe off with a dry cloth.

4. The printed ink layer is too thick. Adhesive coating arrangement should be increased to increase pressure

5. The printed ink layer is not dry or not completely dried. It should be hot pressed and then smeared; select a binder with high solid content; increase the coating thickness of the adhesive; increase the temperature of the drying tunnel, etc.

6. The adhesive is absorbed by the printing ink and paper, so that the coating amount is insufficient. The formulation should be re-formulated and set.

7. The surface treatment of the plastic film is insufficient or exceeds the applicable period, which invalidates the treated surface. The plastic film should be replaced.

8. The pressure is too small, the speed is fast, and the temperature is low. The film temperature and pressure should be increased to reduce the speed of the vehicle appropriately.

Ten, wrinkle coating

1. The film transfer roller is unbalanced. The transfer stick should be adjusted.

2. The ends of the film are inconsistent or wavy. The qualified film should be replaced.

3, the glue layer is too thick, the solvent evaporation is not thorough, affecting the viscosity, squeezed by the pressure roller, and slippage between the paper and the film. The amount of glue should be adjusted to increase the temperature of the drying tunnel.

4. The electric heating roller and the rubber roller are unbalanced at both ends, the pressure is inconsistent, and the line speed is not equal. The two rollers should be adjusted.

XI, blistering

1. The printed ink layer is not dry. It should be hot pressed and then glued; delay the filming time and make it dry thoroughly.

2. The printed ink layer is too thick. The amount of adhesive applied should be increased to increase the pressure and compound temperature.

3. The drying temperature is too high and the surface of the adhesive is crusted. Should reduce the drying temperature

4. The surface temperature of the composite roll is too high. The composite roll temperature should be lowered.

5. The film has wrinkles or slack, and the film is uneven or curled. The film should be replaced and the tension adjusted.

6. There are dust impurities on the surface of the film. It should be cleared in time.

7. The adhesive coating is uneven and the dosage is small. The amount of coating and uniformity should be increased.

8. The binder concentration is too high, the viscosity is large, and the coating is uneven. Apply a diluent to reduce the binder concentration.
